Washbasins for the bathroom

HEWI washbasins impress with their puristic design, an easy-care, high-gloss surface and a functional shape. The washbasins are made of cast mineral. The following products are available:

  • large double washbasins

  • compact versions for the small guest bathroom

The wide range of models leaves nothing to be desired – there is a suitable washbasin for every bathroom. In addition to the variants already mentioned, HEWI also offers custom-made variable-length washbasins. As an architect or planner, you can thus obtain washbasins in exactly the size required for your construction project. In addition, HEWI washbasins and HEWI system fittings complement each other perfectly: they are available in sets. The product sets answer the question of which combination fits together best, both technically and visually.

Washbasins for kids - also barrier-free

There are also suitable products for children: the HEWI washbasins for kids impress with their fine radii, which focus on the safety of little ones. In addition to washbasins, the range also includes mirrors. HEWI thus meets the requirements for product solutions for nurseries, day-care centres and schools. In addition to single and double washbasins, there are also row washbasins with height offset. As well as classic white, HEWI offers a two-colour version in cheerful apple green or radiant aqua blue.

The built-in height and depth gradation of the row washbasins adapts perfectly to the children's anatomy. Rounded edges support the easy accessibility of the fittings. An integrated baffle disc invites children to playfully explore the element of water.

HEWI offers small washbasin solutions with integrated recessed grips for including equipment concepts. They provide security and support and, due to their depth, can also be used by children in a seated position.

In this context, the bathroom is of particular importance. With the new washbasin concept, HEWI is continuing the success story of its innovative washbasin family.

Modular washbasin system with handle

The innovative concept allows the integration of an adaptive grab handle and a modular storage system directly on the washstand. It is available with four attractive stainless steel surfaces with powder coating.The material creates a noble appearance on the washstand, which has an extremely resistant surface and offers high gripping comfort when holding the handle.

The washbasins are reduced due to the reduced material thickness and can be supplemented by other products with important additional functions. The washbasins can be extended by the modular system - just as the individual needs of the user require. All bathroom utensils such as soap dispensers, tumblers and the like are within easy reach. Integrated recessed grips

Barrier-free washbasins must be accessible from below

People with physical disabilities have special requirements when it comes to their bathroom furnishings. Architects and planners should take this into account when designing the bathroom. It is important that the washbasin is accessible. HEWI offers a wide range of barrier-free washbasins. These are suitable for use in both care settings and at home. The accessible washbasins have integrated recessed grips and a hygienic design. The following models are available from HEWI.

Washbasin with overflow

The washbasins with exchangeable overflow combine aesthetics, comfort and hygiene in the bathroom.The rosette in chrome finish gives a particularly elegant appearance and consistently continues the design of the washbasins. The user has the free choice between a simple rosette on the overflow system or a supplied cover that prevents a direct view into the overflow hole.

Washbasin with concealed grip edge

The washbasin in the bathroom where the aids are not visible at all. The edge of the handle running under the washbasin makes it easy to grip the washbasin from all sides.They give an aesthetic accent to the sanitary room in a hospital, retirement or nursing home.In the private sector, the washbasin's purist design opens up new design possibilities.

With an edge raised towards the wall, the barrierfree washbasins are particularly hygienically designed. They have ergonomically shaped handles.Due to their flat design they can be used both standing and sitting. They are available with either a round or rectangular washbasin.

The easy-to-clean washbasins made of cast mineral cast offer particularly ample space for bathroom utensils with their generous shelf surfaces.The deliberate omission of recessed grips creates a particularly large storage area.

Easy-care material

HEWI washbasins are manufactured from cast mineral. The material offers many advantages: it is easy to clean and particularly hygienic. High water temperatures, such as those that occur during the thermal disinfection of a fitting (in accordance with DVGW Guideline W 551), cannot damage the surface of the washstand.

The washbasins made of high-quality cast mineral are convincing with their clear design, resilience and hygiene. The gelcoat gives the washbasins their high-gloss, pore-free surface - making them particularly easy to clean and care for.

Care

A clean, damp and soft all-purpose or sponge cloth and lukewarm water are sufficient to clean the cast mineral washbasins. In addition, the material offers the advantage that small damages can be removed easily.
